India reported 86,498 new COVID-19 on Tuesday, the lowest daily rise in 66 days, according to a statement by the government.

The country's total caseload now stands at 28,996,473. 

India's COVID-19 death toll on Tuesday surpassed the 351,000-mark after 2,123 additional deaths were recorded over the past 24 hours.
