A herd of elephants in China has traveled 500 kilometers in the past 40 days. They have captivated social media around the world. As of 4:50 p.m. Sunday (June 6), the 15 elephants were in Xiyang Yi Autonomous Township in Kunming, the capital city of Yunnan Province. The herd earlier inhabited the Mengyangzi Nature Reserve of the Xishuangbanna National Nature Reserve and visited the city of Pu'er last December.
