China has invited hundreds of foreign envoys to visit Xinjiang Autonomous Region over the past years as it seeks to dispute the Western accusations. On a recent tour, diplomats from the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and over 20 countries visited Xinjiang's capital Urumqi, as well as Kashgar and Aksu.
