Yunnan's provincial authorities say the herd of wandering elephants appears to be taking a rest in the city of Yuxi. They say one elephant, which earlier separated from the herd, is still in Kunming City. Drones are being used to track and monitor the animals. County officials in Yuxi City say they have an emergency response plan in place to ensure the safety of the residents and elephants.
