Japanese lawmakers passed a revised bill to reduce the carbon footprints of enterprises and digitalize operation on Wednesday to bolster the country's industrial competitiveness.

The revised bill aims to ramp up investment in enterprises equipment, in terms of fiscal and taxation, to sharpen Japanese companies' competitive edge after recovering from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
