The 2021 Lujiazui Forum opened in Shanghai on June 10. One of the highlights of this year's event is the financial market's role in carbon neutrality. In an exclusive interview with CGTN, New Development Bank (NDB) President Marcos Troyjo said the NDB is likely to welcome new members this year and that will help the bank expand its business in green finance. So far, 20 percent of the bank's business is related to climate issues. The NDB was established by the Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa (BRICS) bloc in 2015.
