The opening ceremony of the 24th Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF) is underway at Shanghai Grand Theatre. Famous movie stars and renowned filmmakers from home and abroad attend the global event.

The festival brings thousands of works from over a hundred countries and regions around the world to the awards competition. The winners will be unveiled during SIFF's Golden Goblet Awards Ceremony on June 19.
