At least 18 people were killed and over 30 others injured when a passenger bus overturned in Pakistan's southwest Balochistan Province, local media reported Friday morning.

The accident in Khuzdar district occurred when the bus was taking a sharp turn at high speed, paramilitary troops in the province known as Levies said.

According to the reports, the victims were taken to a hospital. Among the injured, six are in critical condition.

The bus was on its way to Khuzdar from Larkana district of Pakistan's southern Sindh province, a Levies official said.
