As globalization deepens, inequality has risen around the world. Sir Angus Deaton, professor of Economics and International Affairs Emeritus at Princeton University, believes that there has been an enormous explosion of wealth inequality in the U.S. during the pandemic and that threats to globalization today are coming from within countries, not from between countries.
