A spokesperson for the Chinese Embassy in the UK on Monday expressed strong opposition to a joint communique issued by the leaders of the Group of Seven (G7) which criticized Beijing over issues concerning China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and Taiwan region.
