M5.8 quake hits NW China

A magnitude-5.8 earthquake hit the Haixi Mongolian and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, in northwest China's Qinghai Province on Wednesday, according to China Earthquake Networks Center. 

The quake happened at 4:48 p.m. BJT, at a depth of 10 kilometers. 

No casualties have been reported so far.
