All of the ongoing NBA Conference semifinals in the West – Los Angeles Clippers 3-2 Utah Jazz – and the East – Brooklyn Nets 3-2 Milwaukee Bucks, Atlanta Hawks 3-2 Philadelphia 76ers – are coming to an end soon.
Kevin Durant just had an epic game in which he did not rest at all and dropped 49 points, 17 rebounds, and 10 assists, carrying the Nets just one win away from the Eastern Finals.
Trae Young and the Hawks beat the 26-point deficit and Joel Embiid to lead again in the series, partly because Ben Simmons looked more like an undercover agent with the 76ers.
The Jazz wasted their best chance of the series after losing to the Clippers who lacked Kawhi Leonard. The Jazz fired 54 triples in this game, and over half of them backfired.
Meanwhile, the Phoenix Suns, who are waiting in the Western Finals, are dealing with a piece of thunderbolt news – their veteran core Chris Paul tested positive for COVID-19.
