Summer flowers are currently in full blossom across China, creating a good reason for people to enjoy the beauty of nature.

Twenty varieties of flowers covering about 91 hectares of land are in full bloom in the Shisanling Township in the northern suburb of Beijing.

Together with green hills, translucent waters and clear skies, the flowers stretch like colored ribbons, presenting a harmonious and idyllic picture. The flowering period for these blossoms will run through the entire summer.

In Xintai City in east China's Shandong Province, over 790 hectares of lilies in over 20 colors are in full bloom, attracting numerous photography enthusiasts and farmers who pick them to make tea. The lily breeding base has 1.1 billion seedlings every year, which are sold across the country.

"What a sea of flowers! It looks like a terraced field with flowers in different colors that are so pleasing to the eye," said tourist Xie Hongyu.

Meanwhile, in Nanning City of south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the lotus flowers in the Shishan Park also entice many tourists during the hot summer.
