China launched the trading of crude oil options on the Shanghai International Energy Exchange on Monday, which is the first batch of yuan-denominated options open to overseas investors. The first batch of crude oil options has a total of 96 contracts of call options and put options. This listing will not only provide risk management tools for Chinese and foreign companies, but also offer asset allocation products for financial institutions.
