CGTN

On June 21, a family of Indian scops owl was spotted in the Jinfoshan National Forest Park. The mother bird was seen feeding the three fluffy chicks.

Indian scops owl is a species under second-class state protection in China. It has small head tufts and gray plumage. The breeding season usually falls between March and June, with the laying of three to four eggs. This type of owl does not know how to build a nest, so it usually hatches its eggs in tree holes.
