China's State Council announced a reshuffle of senior officials in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) on Friday.

John Lee Ka-chiu, who served as Secretary for Security of the HKSAR government, has been appointed the Chief Secretary for Administration, replacing Matthew Cheung Kin-chung, China's State Council has announced.

Former Commissioner of Police Chris Tang Ping-keung is the new Secretary for Security.
