Bangladesh is set to enter a tough new lockdown on June 28, after a "dangerous and alarming" surge in cases of the Delta variant. Authorities said all government and private offices will be shut for a week, with only medical-related transport allowed. Police and border guards will be deployed to enforce the lockdown.
