In Yantai in east China's Shandong Province, a trip to the beach means more than feeling the sand beneath your feet and gazing into the deep blue. Seagulls are a permanent fixture at the beach in Penglai district, and human visitors enjoy interacting with, photographing and occasionally feeding the birds.
