A batch of 1 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines procured from China's pharmaceutical company Sinovac Biotech arrived in Manila, the capital of the Philippines, on Monday.

The Philippine government has received 12 million doses of the Sinovac vaccine, including one million donated by the Chinese government.

The Philippine government plans to buy 25 million doses of the Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine.
