China and Russia agree to extend Treaty of Good-Neighborliness and Friendly Cooperation

During a virtual meeting on Monday, Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin announced their desire to extend the Treaty of Good-Neighborliness and Friendly Cooperation, which was signed in 2001. President Xi has said the treaty is a vivid example of building a new type of international relations and a community with a shared future for mankind.
