To mark the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC), heads of media organizations in Asia, Europe, Africa and Latin America have sent letters of congratulation to Shen Haixiong, president of China Media Group (CMG).

The following is an edited summary of some of these letters.

Adrian Wells, the managing director of the European News Exchange (ENEX), said that the openness and global vision of CMG have made people look forward to strengthening cooperation with it, working together to report news more comprehensively and promoting mutual understanding among people across the region.

Spanish media La Razon said the CPC has led the Chinese people in pursuing reform and opening-up, firmly following the path of peaceful development, promoting social equity, justice, and common prosperity. They also expressed how they're looking forward to closer exchanges and cooperation with CMG. 

We are looking forward to working with CMG to tell the story of China to the rest of the world, and Russia-China friendship will become a new driving force for all mankind to create a better future, said Russian media Big Asian TV. 

Kazakhstan media DKN World News sent a letter of congratulations, saying that this significant day shows that China has successfully formulated a national strategy with Chinese characteristics and is moving along the right path, and they hope to continue to expand practical cooperation with CMG. 

The president of Prensa Latina, the official state news agency of Cuba, said in a video that he wishes China more and more prosperous under the leadership of the CPC and firmly believes that the cooperation between China and Cuba in various fields is getting closer, especially in the media. 

Mexican Channel 6 in its letter thanked CMG for authorizing the news outlet to air many documentaries such as "Up and Out of Poverty." Through these programs, Mexican audiences learned that the CPC has always been committed to serving the people and made remarkable achievements, especially in poverty eradication.

The director of Mongolia Channel 2 said in a video that over the past three years, the network has carried out fruitful cooperation with CMG and enhanced the friendship between the two peoples.

Shen sent letters of thanks back to them. "Chinese people, under the strong leadership of the CPC Central Committee with Xi Jinping as the core, are advancing courageously on the journey of realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation," he wrote. 

"CMG will deepen exchanges with media organizations of other countries to jointly open a new chapter of cooperation, contribute our wisdom and strength to the establishment of a more just and reasonable international order and the building of a community with a shared future for mankind."
