When a hug turns into a fight
CGTN

Two Bengal monitor lizards appeared to hug each other, but their seemingly friendly embrace quickly turned into a fight. They wrestled each other to the ground to find the winner.

The large lizards are very territorial and their length can reach up to 175 centimeters. They have keen eyesight and will quickly run away if they detect humans approaching.

The reptiles were captured in the Wilpattu National Park, Sri Lanka, by wildlife photographer Sergey Savvi.
