In the past 100 years, members of the Communist Party of China (CPC) have remained committed to their original aspiration and mission and made history for the country and the world, Chinese President Xi Jinping, also general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, said in a speech after conferring the July 1 Medal on outstanding Party members at the ceremony held in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on Tuesday.
