The Israel Defense Forces (IDF​) Wednesday said 27 soldiers have been confirmed to be infected with COVID-19, 359 are in isolation, local media reported, citing the spokesperson Jonathan Conricus. 

According to the latest figures released by the Israeli health ministry, there are currently 1,160 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the country, with 50 patients being treated in hospital, 22 in critical condition and 16 in need of ventilators.
