Chinese mainland reports 9 new COVID-19 cases, all from overseas

The Chinese mainland recorded nine new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, all from overseas, data from the National Health Commission showed on Wednesday.

No new deaths related to COVID-19 were reported.

A total of nine new asymptomatic cases, all from overseas, were recorded, while 481 asymptomatic patients remain under medical observation.

This brings the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases on the Chinese mainland to 91,780, with the death toll unchanged at 4,636.

The total number of confirmed cases in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and the Taiwan region is as follows:

Hong Kong: 11,921 (11,628 recoveries, 211 deaths)

Macao: 54 (51 recoveries)

Taiwan: 14,748 (10,086 recoveries, 643 deaths)
