Taiwan compatriots' congratulatory messages on CPC's 100th founding anniversary

Taiwan compatriots from all walks of life have conveyed congratulatory messages on the 100th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of China (CPC), hoping to see the peaceful development of cross-Strait relations.

Lien Chan, former chairman of the Chinese Kuomintang (KMT) party, said the rejuvenation process of the Chinese nation now has reached a new peak in its history of 5,000 years. He said he looks forward to seeing more fruitful accomplishment made in the future. 

Hung Hsiu-chu, also former chairperson of the Chinese Kuomintang party, said that the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation is "a historical necessity," adding that people from both sides of the Taiwan Strait should make every effort to complete the great cause of national reunification.

Chairman of the People First Party (PFP) James Soong Chu-yu hailed the hard work achieved by the CPC, saying the CPC has put people's well-being first. He also echoed the message that both sides across the Strait should work hard in promoting the peaceful development of relations.
