Chinese President Xi Jinping, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, addressed a grand gathering at the Tian'anmen Square in Beijing on Thursday to mark the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC.
