Acclaimed Chinese movie star Jackie Chan sang the song "Defend the Yellow River" with other performers and singers at the art performance titled "Epic Journey" that was held at the National Stadium in Beijing on Monday. The song was written during the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. 

The star-studded art performance celebrated the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC). It's broadcasted on TV, radio, and multimedia platforms of China Media Group (CMG) on Thursday night.

The gala has four chapters. The song "Defend the Yellow River" is a part of the first chapter "Advancing through the Flames," which features various performances including chorus, dance and drama.
