Instrumental music and children's choir "A Shared Destiny," song "The Beauty of the Harmony of Unity" from the art performance "Epic Journey" featured traditional instruments and high-tech lights.

The art performance was held to celebrate the centenary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) at the National Stadium in Beijing on Monday night.

"The world's greatness is found in the beauty of harmony and unity," the lyrics of the song "The Beauty of the Harmony of Unity" said, highlighting the concept of a community of shared future for mankind.

During the performance, many musicians played Guzheng together, a time-honored Chinese plucked zither with over 2,500 years of history.
