Leaders of foreign political parties and governments have been extending warm congratulations on the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC).
In messages addressed to General Secretary Xi Jinping of the CPC Central Committee, they spoke highly of the great achievements the CPC has made since its founding, especially since the 18th CPC National Congress under the leadership of the CPC Central Committee with Xi at the core.
They also wished the CPC a new glorious century.
DPRK: Workers' Party of Korea
In his message, Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), extended warm congratulations and comradely greetings to Xi, as well as all CPC members and the brotherly Chinese people, on behalf of all WPK members and the DPRK people, as well as in his own name.
Since the 18th CPC National Congress, Xi has led the CPC and the Chinese people to achieve a decisive victory in the struggle for building a moderately prosperous society in all respects and eradicating absolute poverty, and to successfully tackle the global public health crisis, remarkably enhancing China's comprehensive national strength and international prestige, Kim said.
In the past 100 years since its founding, the CPC has created changes and miracles that are unprecedented in thousands of years, which has fully proved that only the leadership of the CPC and the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics are the best choice and guarantee for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, Kim added.
The WPK and the DPRK people, he said, unswervingly support the CPC's great cause of advancing socialist construction, safeguarding national sovereignty and territorial integrity, and maintaining world peace.
The WPK, Kim said, is ready to make unwavering concerted efforts with the CPC to ensure that their common great cause of socialist construction will advance with vigor and vitality forever.

Vietnam: Communist Party of Vietnam
In his message, Nguyen Phu Trong, general secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee, said that as the CPC celebrates its centenary, he extends to Xi, and through Xi to the brotherly CPC and Chinese people, his sincerest and warmest congratulations.
The founding of the CPC in July 1921, he said, was a historic event that opened a new chapter in the Chinese people's cause of revolution. Especially since the 18th CPC National Congress, the brotherly Chinese people, under the strong leadership of the CPC Central Committee with Xi at the core, have realized the first centenary goal and are steadily striding towards the second centenary goal, he added.
Presently, against the backdrop of profoundly changing international and regional circumstances, both Vietnam's cause of reform and international integration and China's cause of reform and opening-up have entered a crucial period, Trong noted.
He added that it is not only a historic obligation but an objective demand to consolidate the friendship and comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between Vietnam and China and push for their sustainable, healthy and stable development for the better.
Trong said he is ready to work with Xi to continue caring for and guiding the implementation at different levels, by different departments and in different regions of the agreements and consensuses the top leaderships of the two sides have reached, so as to lift the two countries' traditional good-neighborly friendship and comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership to new levels.
Laos: Lao People's Revolutionary Party
In his message, Thongloun Sisoulith, general secretary of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP) Central Committee and Lao president, extended the warmest congratulations to Xi and through Xi to the CPC, the Chinese government and the brotherly Chinese people, on behalf of the LPRP, the Lao government and all Lao people.
Over the past 100 years, the CPC has been growing from strength to strength, and has always adhered to the Communist ideals and beliefs, represented the fundamental interests of the Chinese people, and stayed true to its original aspiration and founding mission, Thongloun said.
He noted that the Belt and Road Initiative and the concept of a community with a shared future for mankind, both proposed by Xi, accord with the trend of the times, meet the common aspiration of all countries, have won widespread acclaim and support, and are gradually put into great practice.
Thongloun said the Laos offers its highest praise and warmest congratulations on the great all-round achievements the CPC has united and led the Chinese people to attain.
Those achievements, he added, have provided valuable experience and huge encouragement for Laos to advance the cause of the party's and the country's development along the socialist path.
Cuba: Communist Party of Cuba
In his message, Miguel Diaz-Canel, first secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) Central Committee and also Cuban president, said that on behalf of the Cuban people and the PCC Central Committee as well as in his name, he would like to extend to Xi the warmest brotherly congratulations.
He said China and the CPC have proved that it is possible to achieve sustainable development on the condition of safeguarding national sovereignty and independence and sticking to ideals and beliefs.
The CPC, under Xi's leadership, has been unflinchingly strengthening party building and unremittingly fighting against corruption and poverty, he noted, adding that now with the first centenary goal achieved, the CPC is marching courageously towards the second centenary goal.
The party, he said, also implements a foreign policy based on building a community with a shared future for mankind, jointly developing the Belt and Road, and safeguarding multilateralism as well as the norms of international law.
The new generation of Cuban leaders will unswervingly inherit the political will and the will of the Cuban people that have over the past more than 60 years continuously promoted the friendship between the two countries, he said.
Singapore: People's Action Party
In a letter addressed to Xi, Lee Hsien Loong, secretary-general of the People's Action Party (PAP) and Singapore's prime minister, said the CPC has steered China to overcome both domestic and external challenges.
China, under Xi's leadership, has succeeded in eradicating absolute poverty and achieving a moderately prosperous society in all respects in recent years, he said.
"A stable, prosperous and successful China that is well-integrated into the international system benefits not just China, but also the rest of Asia and the world," he added.
At the bottom of the letter, Lee congratulated the CPC on its 100th anniversary of founding in handwritten Chinese characters.
Leaders of foreign political parties and governments extending warm congratulations on the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC also include Samdech Techo Hun Sen, president of the Cambodian People's Party; Afghan President Ashraf Ghani; Nicolas Maduro, president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela and Venezuela's president; and Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
