Liu Boming and Tang Hongbo, two of the three Chinese astronauts stationed in the Tianhe core module of China's space station, ventured outside on Sunday to conduct the first extravehicular activities of their current mission.

Astronaut Liu installed foot stops on the robotic arm outside the cabin, the China Manned Space Agency (CMSA) said in a statement.
