The venue for the 10th China Flower Expo in Shanghai will be retained and turned into a park following its conclusion on Friday.
The organizer said the southern part of the park is scheduled to open on July 3, while the northern area will reopen in late July.
The major pavilions, Fuxing Pavilion and Century Pavilion, will continue to host flower-related exhibitions, and part of the outdoor gardens will also welcome visitors.

The flower expo, held every four years since 1987, is a national flower event with a large scale and extensive influence in the country.
A total of 189 exhibitors created 180 outdoor gardens and 64 indoor exhibitions for this year's expo that opened on May 21. More than 20,000 flowers of 3,000 species attracted 2 million visits, and the virtual exhibition recorded 24 million online views.
