A summit on Tuesday will engage more than 500 leaders from political parties and organizations around the world. Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and Chinese president, will be among them, and he's expected to deliver a speech. Organizers said they hope the CPC and World Political Parties Summit can help the world better understand the operations of China's ruling Party, which celebrated its 100th birthday last week.
