Former Afghan President Hamid Karzai told CGTN at the World Peace Forum held in Beijing this weekend that U.S.-led Afghan war is a failure and the U.S. troops' withdrawal does not mean that the country will fall into further instability and chaos. He said the Afghans will be on their own to restore order, and in this process, China can play an important role in fighting extremism together with other neighbors of Afghanistan.
