01:23

Ruili City in southwest China's Yunnan Province has confirmed three new locally-transmitted coronavirus cases. Authorities in the China-Myanmar border city say the new cases were found on Sunday in routine testing. Two of the cases are Chinese nationals, while the other is from Myanmar.

The city has launched a mass testing campaign for the city and the nearby Wanding area. Those who are required to get tested include permanent residents, foreign nationals and the temporary migrant population. More than 900 medical personnel have been called in to conduct epidemiological investigations.
