It will also jointly promote responses to the challenges brought by the rapid changes in the last century and strengthen the vision seeking happiness for the people as well as promote world peace and development to build a community with a shared future for mankind, according to Hu.

The summit is designed to promote better understanding of China and the CPC, and the CPC's concern for the future and destiny of mankind is also expected to be highlighted.

On July 1, China held a grand gathering marking the centenary of the CPC in Beijing. Xi announced a landmark victory in building a moderately prosperous society in all respects, the first centenary goal of the Party.
