About 140 students are missing after gunmen attacked a boarding school in northwestern Nigeria on Monday. The armed attackers opened fire and overpowered security guards after storming the Bethel Baptist High School in Kaduna state, abducting most of the 165 pupils boarding overnight. According to a teacher at the school, about 25 students managed to escape.
