Seventeen more U.S. soldiers and related two civilians in South Korea have tested positive for COVID-19, the U.S. Forces Korea (USFK) said Wednesday.
The USFK said in a statement that 19 USFK-affiliated individuals were confirmed positive with COVID-19 between June 29 and July 2.
Nine service members and a close contact at Camp Casey, five service members and a service member's family member at K-16, and two service members at Osan Air Base tested positive during the contact-tracing process.
The confirmed patients have been transferred to designated isolation facilities at the U.S. army bases.
