5.3-magnitude quake hits Taiwan sea area: CENC

A 5.3-magnitude earthquake jolted the sea area off China's Taiwan at around 7:24 p.m. Wednesday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).

The quake was recorded at a depth of nine kilometers. There are currently no reports of casualties or damage.
