More than 500 leaders of political parties and organizations from around the world took part in a summit with the Communist Party of China (CPC) on Tuesday. Professor Xia Lu, associate professor at the School of Marxism Studies of the Renmin University of China, shared his insights on the event. He said that Chinese modernization is state-driven rather than market-driven.
