Chinese President Xi Jinping, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, delivered a keynote speech at the CPC and World Political Parties Summit via video link in Beijing on Tuesday. He called on political parties to shoulder the responsibility to steer the course by shaping the shared future for mankind, and build consensus by upholding and promoting the common values of humanity.
