After severe marine pollution led to an outbreak of sea snot, Turkey launched a cleanup campaign on June 8 to remove the thick, slimy sheet formed by dead or living organic materials that float on seawater. These drone photos taken on July 7 in the Marmara area of Istanbul provide evidence of the campaign's success.
