China successfully launched new remote-sensing satellites from Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in north China's Shanxi Province at 7:59 p.m. Friday (Beijing Time).
The 02 group satellites of the Zhongzi constellation were sent into orbit by a Long March-6 carrier rocket.
Friday's launch was the 379th mission of the Long March rocket series.
