China's national women's tennis team is currently undergoing some rigorous training sessions behind closed doors in Rizhao City, east China's Shandong Province. 

The five-player squad started their one-month closed-door training on June 18. Two-time Asian Games gold medalist Wang Qiang leads a squad skipping the whole grass season, including the Wimbledon Championships, to focus on preparing for the delayed Tokyo Olympics. 

The Chinese national team will finish training on July 12 and depart for Tokyo on July 18.
