Discovered by Israeli archaeologists, the grandiose building is considered a place where VIPs and members of the elite were likely welcomed on their way to visit the nearby Temple Mount during that time. /CFP

The lavishly endowed building contained two imposing rooms decorated with elaborate Corinthian capitals protruding from the walls, which were connected by another chamber featuring a sumptuous fountain with running water. /CFP

Reportedly, the opulent structure will soon be part of the Western Wall Tunnels itinerary, offering visitors a glimpse into life during the first century in the upcoming weeks, the IAA and the Western Wall Heritage Foundation said. /CFP
