Russia reports record high single-day COVID-19 deaths

Russia on Saturday reported 752 coronavirus-related deaths, the highest single-day spike since the pandemic began, bringing the national death toll to 142,253.

It also reported 25,082 new coronavirus cases, including 5,694 in Moscow, pushing the national caseload to 5,758,300.
