Vietnam's Ministry of Health said on Friday that it has licensed a local company to import 5 million doses of China's Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine.
Vietnam reported a new record high of 1,625 new COVID-19 cases on Friday, surpassing the previous record of 1,314 cases registered on Thursday, according to health authorities.
