Mount Wutai in north China's Shanxi Province has seen flash floods amid heavy rainfall on Saturday afternoon.

Traffic was disrupted but later resumed.

Three people who were injured have been rescued by local firefighters and police officers. One person was found dead by a river at the scenic spot on Sunday morning.

Local officials have warned tourists to stay safe. The local meteorological department says the heavy rain will continue until Tuesday.
