From 8 p.m. (1200 GMT) Sunday to 8 p.m. (1200 GMT) Monday, heavy rainfall and rainstorms are expected in Beijing, Tianjin, parts of Hebei, Shanxi and Shandong provinces, according to the center.
Parts of these regions will also see thunderstorms and strong winds, said the center.
China has a four-tier color-coded weather warning system, with red representing the most severe warning, followed by orange, yellow and blue.

According to the authorities, the accumulated rainfall in the city is forecast to reach 60 mm to 100 mm on average from 5 p.m. (0900 GMT) Sunday to 8 a.m. (0000 GMT) Tuesday.
