Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said relations between China and Russia have borne challenges from the international political climate. Wang made the remarks at a special banquet on Sunday, celebrating 20 years of the Treaty of Good-Neighborliness and Friendly Cooperation, with Russia. Wang said both countries have deepened cooperation amid the pandemic. Adding the two should support each other to maintain regional stability. Russian Ambassador to China Andrey Denisov said Russia looks to deepen military, energy and people-to-people exchanges.
